Most languages have a one-command installation on Unix-like systems. That makes it really easy to get started for beginners. Clojure has had that off-and-on, but it's been kind of inconsistent. I was happy when Elana told me she was working on a talk about organizing a group to maintain the Debian package for Leiningen. This kind of organization is essential for the Clojure platform on multiple levels. And it would be wonderful to understand all that's involved with engaging with a platform like Debian.
